SENATE SPY REVIEW

Senate Spy is very different to prievious episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Not a single blaster is fired in this episode, nor is a lightsaber ignited, nor does anything explode.

One thing I liked in this episode the number of environments previously seen in the live action movies, including Padmé's apartment verandah (Episode III), the Senate corridor (Episode II) and rotunda chambers (Episode I), the Jedi Council war room (Episode III), entrance gates (Episode III), and Cato Neimoidia (Episode (III).

I also liked how this show continues to delve deep into Star Wars' huge array of characters. It turned out Clovis was working on a new droid factory, and his allies were Poggle the Lesser and Lott Dod – the latter a semi-obscure Neimoidian Senator, whose one scene in The Phantom Menace had him objecting to Padme's claims that the Trade Federation had invaded Naboo.

The one thing I don't like about Padme in The Clone Wars is that in nearly every episode she's appeared in she get's captured (Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, Bombad Jedi, Blue Shadow Virus etc.) or in this case being poisoned. They are starting to make Padme look like a damsel in distress to me.

DID YOU KNOW: The take-out food Anakin carries is labeled "WARM FOOD" on the side, and "SUSHI" on the top. The crashing wave design printed on the box is taken from a recently produced R2-D2 tea towel.

STASS ALLIE

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have reason to believe that Stass Allie (Cousin to Adi Gallia) will make an appearance in Season Two after watching a Behind the Scenes look at The Clone Wars movie on Good Morning America.

Now I have finally got a screen shot.

If you can't find it, it can be found sitting on the desk next to a model of Ahsoka Tano.

CHILDREN OF THE FORCE REVIEW

Children of the Force is a great illustration of we didn't see in Season One. In Season One we'd be in one location, maybe two. Very few locations in between. Maybe the same planet or same ship. But this is episode is full of locations. We start on a Jedi Cruiser, we go to Coruscant, we go to Mustafar, Cad Bane's lair. We even go back to Naboo and Rodia.

This episode is a great episode and a great ending to this trilogy. I loved how we saw Anakin and the Chancellor's relationship in this episode and the little sparks between Anakin and Mace Windu aswell.

DID YOU KNOW: The holographic mobile hovering over the Gungan toddler's crib includes a colo clawfish and a sando aqua monster, two of the massive underwater beasts that plagued Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's submarine in Episode I.

LOTT DOD IN THE CLONE WARS!!!

If you are not familiar with Lott Dod, he is the Neimoidian Senator from Episode I who argues with Padme when she states her planet was attacked by The Trade Federation. He will appear in the next episode 'Senate Spy', here is the synopsis: At the Jedi Council's request, Padmé investigates a Separatist conspiracy in the Senate.

HOLOCRON HEIST AND CARGO OF DOOM REVIEW

Holocron Heist
Absolutely loved this episode, possibly my favourite episode as of yet! Loved the new characters particularly Jocasta Nu and Cato Parasitti. Also liked the little duel between Ahsoka and Cato Parasitti (disguised as Jocasta Nu). I liked how they added Plo Koon in the Felucia fight at the begining and I thought that Seth Green nailed the role of TODO 360.
Overall I would give this episode a definite 10/10!

Cargo of Doom
This episode was as good, especially in terms of graphics and plotline. Poor Master Ropal the saddest scene I've seen in the whole of the Clone Wars series. But do you really think Cad Bane is dead? I reckon that Cad Bane got changed in Denal's armour due to the fact that at the end of the episode when Anakin asked if he retreaved the holocron, Denal's voice sounds croaky (like Bane's).

STASS ALLIE???

I have reason to believe that Stass Allie (Cousin to Adi Gallia) will make an appearance in Season Two after watching a Behind the Scenes look at The Clone Wars movie on Good Morning America.

A bust resembling the Jedi Master can be seen sitting on the desk next to a model of Ahsoka Tano. If you are not familiar with Stass Allie here is a promotinal picture of her from Revenge of the Sith.
